The haskap is a small oval berry often compared to an elongated blueberry. It is an emerging Nordic fruit that gains new fans every year. Its taste is reminiscent of blackcurrant, plum and sometimes rhubarb. Not very sweet and slightly acidic, haskap jam is perfect for breakfast, but also in a host of savory dishes that it delicately enhances.
